Abanitu Farm

Abanitu Farm is owned and operated by Bernard Obie. The farm, located in Roxboro, is 32 acres of mostly woodlands, pasture and meadows, with about 5 acres under cultivation. Obie, a 5th generation farmer, is committed to building a healthy farm eco-system using a no-till approach on re-mineralized, naturally enriched soil. He strictly follows organic cultivation practices, and plans to pursue certification later this year. Abanitu Farm’s mission is to cultivate food that achieves its genetic potential for nutrition, healing and flavor. Visitation is welcomed, but please contact Obie to arrange a time.
