Happy Wednesday! Our friends at the Museum of Life and Science are back with kids activities, starting TODAY from 3-6pm! They will join us alternating Wednesdays and Saturdays during the fall. Today’s Theme: What’s Snacking? Happy National Trail-Mix Day!! What do you consider a snack? Today you will make your own one-of-kind trial mix with the ingredients provided by the Museum of Life and Science. Make sure you name it!
It’s the last day of August, and a what better way to bid the month goodbye, then a trip to Wednesday Market to pick up some of the summer’s best seasonal offerings? Farm vendors will have figs, okra, tomatoes, summer flowers, sweet potato greens, sweet and hot peppers, garlic, onion, melons, greens, pears, apples, beans, shallots, beets, zucchini, and more! Our local bakeries will be here with their scrumptious selection of freshly baked goods – pick up a loaf for the remainder of the week’s meals, and a sweet or savory treat to enjoy at market!
Yoga is happening this week! Join us under the pavilion from 4:30-5:30 for instructor-led community yoga class! The class is free or pay what you want, and you only need to bring your mat and water. We hope you’ll check it out!
Catch the Poetry Fox at market today! He’ll be here to delight with personalized, live typed poems. Always a treat!
