Market is OPEN September 10, 8 am – 12pm!

It’s almost the weekend! With everyone heading back to school and the week’s cooler weather, it certainly feels like fall is around the corner, and we are loving the chance to enjoy the summer’s bounty while seeing the first of the fall produce make its way to market from around Durham!

What’s in season? You can still find lots of tomatoes, eggplant, sweet and hot peppers, okra, beans, summer field flowers, basil, melons, and figs on farmer tables. And we are starting to see pumpkins big and small, winter squash like butternut, long island cheese, spaghetti, and acorn, many varieties of beautiful apples and pears, as well as fall greens like bok choy, spring lettuce mixes, arugula, and more.

What better time to visit one of our wonderful meat farmers than this rainy, cool week when we are dreaming about warm stews and hearty meals for the fall and winter? Stop by and see what they have for you this week!

This week, catch live music by the wonderful Remona Jeannine! William Davis will also be here with his typewriter for live, custom poems!

And don’t forget community outdoor yoga is back this week on the green at 9:00am!

It’s going to be a beautiful Saturday Market. See ya there, Durham!
