Market is OPEN September 17, 8 am – 12pm!

Join us for a beautiful Saturday at the market! So far, forecast calls for another cool morning slowly warming up with the sun and we are here for it…and for literal loads of fresh produce, meats, flowers, and crafted goods. Woo hoo!

We’ll have lots of summer fruits and veggies still in season, as well as pumpkins of all colors, gourds, winter squash varieties, tons of fall greens, and more. Beverage vendors like Homebucha, Honeygirl Meadery, Botanist & Barrel, Jewels of Health Farm, and Omie’s Coffee always have seasonal releases and classic favorites coming to market. Stop by and see what they’re bringing this week!

Activities:

* It will be a perfect day to catch our outdoor yoga class at 9:00am on the lawn!

* Don’t miss The Durham Street Piano Player (Thomas Merrigan) providing live Market Music!

* The Poetry Fox Returns! What better way to continue to support him and his new typewriter than to stop by and buy a custom, live-typed poem?

Last Chance to Vote:

This is the last weekend of the American Farmland Trust’s annual Farmers Market Celebration! If you have a minute, will you cast your vote for the market, and help us keep our spot as the #1 Farmers Market in North Carolina? To vote, click here!

It has been a blast to celebrate the joy of farmers markets & the unique and beautiful community we have here at the DFM with you. Thank you for supporting the market, advocating for your local vendors, and making it our favorite place to be on a Saturday morning.

Cheers!
