Pumpkin chili was the winner of last week’s vote, and this pumpkin chili did not disappoint. It was simple to make, flavorful, and the perfect hearty meal for these rainy days.

We made ours using peppers from Southwind Organic Produce, Onion from Hurtgen Meadows, Pumpkin from Roberson Creek, Beef from Fickle Creek Farm, and Bone Broth made from Sunset Ridge Buffalo soup bones. You can easily make this a vegetarian meal by leaving out the meat.

We hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

It’s winter squash season at the market! This simple recipe adapted from @therealfooddietitians highlights one of our favorite winter squashes, the acorn squash.

For this recipe we recommend:
🍁 Acorn squash from Meadow Lane, 🧄 Garlic from @wild_scallions_farm, 🧀 Calvander from @chapelhillcreamery, 🌿 Herbs from our own garden, but can be found at market

We hope you enjoy this one!

We followed this recipe from The Mediterranean Dish pretty much exactly, except we swapped the crushed tomatoes for fresh market tomatoes. We hope you enjoy!

Mario’s (Meadow Lane Farm) peanuts were the inspiration for this week’s market recipe. As soon as we saw them we knew exactly what to make: Thai Peanut Tacos. Every single fresh ingredient came from the market. We are always amazed by what all can be grown within 70 miles of the market! Our Peanut Sauce recipe came from Cookie and Kate. Enjoy!
