Haw River Mushrooms, LLC is a family owned mushroom farm based in Saxapahaw, NC. We produce fresh gourmet mushrooms for wholesale, market, and CSA. We also produce three flavors of mushroom jerky as well as frozen ready to heat and eat, Lions Mane “Crabcakes.” We ship our popular mushroom jerky nationally! We are always adding new products of dried mushrooms, tinctures and more.

We specialize in growing lions mane, multiple varieties of oyster mushrooms, shiitake, cinnamon caps, black pearls, wine caps, reishi and maitake. In addition we offer mushroom related workshops in cultivation and identification/foraging. Laura is a certified mushroom forager for NC, SC, and Georgia. We also produce a lot of amazing compost for garden use and have seasonally available at home grow bags for purchase.

As mushrooms are our specialty, we produce year round in an indoor facility where we propagate on mixed substrate bags with a small amount of outdoor production seasonally.
